Getting Started With Tactical Equipment

Emersongear Tactical Equipment

If you’re looking to get started with tactical equipment, there are a few things you should consider first. For starters, you should know the different types of equipment available. You can find knives, camouflage, stun grenades, and more. Then, once you have a few tools under your belt, you can start to think about adding other accessories to your collection. These include a tactical watch, a Suunto bag, and even a spotter scope.

Camouflage

The art of camouflage has been used by militaries since the nineteenth century. It is a means of concealing the personnel and equipment of a military force. A wide variety of materials is utilized. Some patterns are designed specifically for certain branches of the armed forces.

The Kryptek Outdoor Group developed a series of camouflage patterns that target tactical users. These patterns are available on hard and nylon gear.

For instance, the MultiCam pattern is effective in environments with heavy vegetation. This pattern has also been used by Russia, Chile, and the Republic of Georgia.

Another pattern used by the United States is the DCU camouflage pattern. The DCU is issued to Marines, Coast Guard, and all four US military branches. This was issued until 2010.

There are also several other types of camouflage patterns. They are also found in the fashion world. Examples of these patterns are ABD/SERE, CCE, and M81.

These patterns are pixelated and are available on clothing, nylon, and hard gear. In addition, they are also available on vinyl vehicle coverings. Many major designers have exploited the style of camouflage.

Camouflage has been popular in the fashion world since 1915. However, it has not always been an effective method. Modern technology has made it easier for an enemy to find you. Instead of just hiding, modern camouflage seeks to deceive an enemy through misleading visual information.

The “Vegetato” family of camouflage patterns is commonly used by the Italian armed forces. These patterns use a fractal-based pixel. Likewise, the ABD/SERE is a digitally-generated pixel pattern that offers depth at close ranges.

Another pattern known as “Deserico” is frequently used in the United States. These patterns are not fractal-based, however, and do not provide the same degree of depth at close ranges.

Knives

Tactical knives are specially crafted to be used outdoors. They are designed to provide maximum functionality while maintaining a rugged design. In addition, they are made of high quality materials to withstand harsh conditions.

Tactical knives are available in a wide variety of styles and designs. Each knife’s handle material and blade shape depend on what the knife is designed for. Some tactical knives are fixed blades while others are folding.

The best tactical knives are made from high carbon steel and are designed for active use. They are also durable and strong enough to handle most tasks.

The 5.11 Tactical Linerlocks Pocket Knives are exclusively made for tactical use. They feature textured handles with spring lock mechanisms. These pocket knives are easy to carry. Moreover, they are made with secondary blades that make the blades more sturdy.

Unlike other pocket knives, the 5.11 Tactical fixed blades are made of stainless steel and are suitable for outdoor use. This is why they are sometimes known as non-folding knives. Besides, they are also ideal for food preparation, cutting, and survival.

5.11 Tactical axes are specially designed to meet the needs of campers and hunters. Featuring hammerheads, ergonomic handles, and metal sheath cutters, these axes are powerful tools that can be used for shaving, nail removal, and chopping.

The 5.11 Tactical Operator Axe Series features a hammerhead and hex driver, along with a two-piece hard sheath. The blades are made of black-finished stainless steel and feature a pry end with nail remover.

Another tactical knife is the 5.11 Tanto Surge. It is designed by Mike Vellekamp and is suitable for tactical and defensive uses.

Stun Grenade

If you’re looking for a piece of tactical equipment to use, Stun Grenade is a great choice. It can give you a huge advantage in late-game fights.

Stun Grenade slows down the victim, impairing their vision and movement. They can also be used to deter an attacker.

The effects of a stun grenade can be mitigated by wearing a Tactical Mask. This will reduce the duration and blur of the stun.

Another type of tactical equipment to consider is the Shock Stick. Like a stun grenade, a shock stick is a special electrical device that can be used to inflict damage to enemies. In addition, the device can also be used to lock down chokepoints and destroy equipment.

A concussion grenade is another piece of tactical equipment that you can use in the game. These special explosive devices create a bright light, sizzling hot sand, and an intense noise.

The kinetic damage of a grenade is largely dependent on the player’s kit level, skills, and skill level. The ALSD429, for instance, produces 6-10 million candela.

Unlike the aforementioned grenades, flash grenades are nonlethal. That means they’re not as dangerous as a stun grenade, but they can still cause secondary debris.

If you’re a fan of old school Call of Duty games, you may prefer using a flash grenade. It’s a good piece of gear to use when you’re a defensive player, as it allows you to slow down aggressive opponents.

One of the newest items to enter the Warzone arsenal is the Sequencer Grenade. Its effect is essentially that of a stun grenade, although the effect distorts the enemy’s sight, hearing, and in-game audio.

Suunto Bag

One of the most prestigious names in the sports and fitness industry, Suunto is an expert at making precision instruments for a range of sporting pursuits. These include training, skiing, and mountaineering. They also have a line of dive products made in Finland. The company has been around since 1936.

Their X-, S-, and G-series of sport watches are made for different sports. Aside from the standard altimeter, they also feature built-in compass and a barometer. For a more sophisticated look, they come in all-black models.

The Suunto Core is one of the more expensive, albeit highly touted, sport watches on the market. It boasts a 12 month battery life, a 30-meter water resistivity, and a number of clever features. Some of the more advanced versions have a stainless steel frame.

In addition to the standard altimeter, the Suunto Core includes a digital thermometer, a barometer, and a digital compass. There’s also a nifty altimeter-like feature that indicates approaching squalls. And don’t forget to mention the o-m-m-worthy weather trend indicator.

While Suunto makes several other watches, the Core is arguably the best all-around outdoor watch you can get your hands on. Not to mention the fact that it comes in a stylish package.

Although the Core is expensive, it is well worth the money. It also comes with a few clever functions and features that make it a worthwhile purchase. With a price tag of around $260, it’s an investment worth considering. Getting started with the Suunto Core is a breeze. Plus, the company is a first class business. Make sure you check them out next time you are in the market for a good all-round outdoor watch.

Modern Warfare 2 Spotter Scope

The Spotter Scope is a sniper support piece of equipment in Modern Warfare 2. It looks like a pair of binoculars. However, it has a unique function. With the toggle on, it can be switched to thermal view. This gives it the ability to spot targets from a distance.

The Spotter Scope can be found randomly in buildings or supply boxes. You can also find it as a reward for completing a Recon contract. Once you have the Spotter Scope, you can scan a map to locate enemies.

When you are scanning an area, hold the scope in front of the enemy for a few seconds. Once the red diamond appears, you know the target is marked. This will last for five seconds. If you are focusing on a target, the diamond will remain for a longer time.

This is a good scouting tool because it will allow you to track and tag enemies from a long distance. But it isn’t perfect. You can trip on glint if you are aiming at an enemy from too far away.

For instance, if you are sniping a faraway enemy, you will have to wait for the red diamond to appear before you can complete your mark. A closer enemy takes less time.

In addition, the Spotter Scope can be used to scout an area ahead. As you zoom in, you will be able to see the position of the enemies.

Another advantage of the Spotter Scope is that it has an unlimited use. Unlike other tactical equipment, the Spotter Scope has no usage limit.

Although it is a good scouting tool, it is not suitable for a 6v6 match. Instead, it is more appropriate for large-scale maps.
